Background

John Lewis’s online store is their flagship store accounting for more £1 billion of sales. It soon became apparent that the better the quality of the product image online the more they sold. 

As a result a major project was to be tendered for to reshoot every product in just 18 months. Hangar Seven were considered the only business capable of such a task.

Our Solution

We built a bespoke studio within JLP head office in Chelsea where all the non fashion samples were meaning reduced transit and handling times/costs. A team of 35 were recruited and trained to use Hangar Seven’s unique image workflow and asset management system.

Result

The enhancement of the imagery has helped grow sales and product pick up by 15%.
